I don’t know why, but they crack me up more than most. I never followed Biden, but some of the ‘stories’ just seem plausible in a good way (if that makes sense). I am the exact same way; I love the Biden pieces. The recliner one is great. I guess I can help **Gagundathar**. My semaphore strategy is to always grab them in the same order and to never let them go. This reduces your program to a single-thread, which is much easier to debug. Let me know if I can help with any other parts. I have a very fast hash implementation that can hold any number of objects so long as they are all the same. ---

Heh! I haven’t been out to The Onion in a while - I see I need to fix that. We take Biden with a fair bit of wry pride. He’s a goof, but he’s _our_ goof. And a pretty decent guy when you meet him personally. Frankly, though, I think his son Beau is a better\* public servant - Certainly less likely to put his foot in his mouth! \*Better, not more experienced. Yet. ---

Well, maybe _now_ it does, but not in any of the previous Presidential election cycles. Perhaps his high level of exposure as VP has done the job. Time will tell. ---

I love _The Onion_’s Biden pieces too. What cracks me up so much about them - they’re just so random. Biden has a reputation (deservedly so) for what, putting his foot in his mouth? That’s like all. I love that _The Onion_ seemed to make a random decision from day one of the Obama campaign - Biden will always be presented as a aging, lecherous, slightly white-trash, 80’s butt-rock, party-dude, lovable rascal. It just makes no sense, but they’ve shown such discipline in keeping to this line that the cumulative effect is that each Biden piece makes me laugh harder.
