Well here is to hoping that her purring is that of being content. I’d hate to think she is constantly hurt/distressed. For the record, she has been to the vet for her regular visits and he has never found anything wrong with her. ---

My granddad sat on one of our cats once. Nobody got hurt, but she wasn’t too happy about it. I just have to go looking at all the kitty threads; I had to give up my kitty a couple of months ago. And I miss him! Yours is adorable! Do watch where you sit. And be careful; even if you look, by the time you look away and start to sit, there can be a cat there. I have years of experience with this phenomenon. I honestly think they teleport. 🙂 ---

Just another chiming in that it’s very common for cats to lose bowel control when frightened. My cat almost always poops herself when I bring her to the vet. (She hates the vet.) ---

This is something every future cat owner should know, cats will ALWAYS try and steal your seat when you get up, I’ve had 8 cats throughout my life, and every last one of em did it. I always ease into my chair. Glad to hear the little one’s ok =) ---
