I searched for that [“Bad News”] in netflix, and all I get is little league movies.
You’d probably have to buy the full boxed set, _The Comic Strip Presents_ - I got mine from Amazon UK for £30, and it was work every penny. That gets you all 39 episodes (8 discs), plus a disc of extras.
And now a “life imitates Spinal Tap” trivia question: which real-life rock drummer actually _did_ die in a bizarre gardening accident?
No idea, but a few years ago, Ronnie James Dio severed his thumb while working in the garden. (Doctors successfully reattached it.)

Well, as long as this older thread’s been brought back…
It was in A Mighty Wind. When Mitch gets off the bus, there is a solemn sounding acoustic guitar on the soundtrack. Playing Lick My Love Pump. Funnily enough, this movie also has Spinal Tap reunited and reinvented.
Actually that’s not “Lick My Love Pump,” **tdn** – that’s “Skeletons of Quinto,” the song by The Folksmen that they start to perform at the broadcast when Mitch isn’t anywhere to be found. (It’s also the song we see them rehearse together earlier in the film, where Guest’s character Alan translates the spoken lyrics into Spanish.)

It does have a similar feel to “Lick My Love Pump,” though. Not sure if it’s in D-minor, the saddest of all keys that makes people weep instantly.
