Well and good, but damn it, we need details! How was the telemarketer nailed? And so forth. Understand that some secrecy to not spoil the case may be needed, but as one who suffers as well, details would be nice. ---

I have been saying “Put me on your Do Not Call list”, and seems to have helped. But I read today that the house (MA) was in the process of passing a DNC law. So maybe the worst offenders were from out of state. But are there some of you for whom TMs are no problem at all? They don’t really bother me, because a) I have caller ID b) I have call answering, and c) I never pick up the phone. But **luc** , good for you! Let us know if they put up a big ugly battle. ---

The thing is, I’m an attorney, I hung out my shingle 3 months ago, I have a lot of experience in collections work, and I have some extra time. So why not make these fuckers bleed a bit? I almost hope they put up a fight - it won’t cost me much to litigate 'til the cows come home. And it will be a lot of fun if I get to have the sheriff levy on their property. (bwahahahaha). ---
