As for books, I’ve heard good things about Pete Dexter’s Deadwood. I took out a subscription to the Deadwood magazine, and they’ve plugged some Deadwood history books, written by locals. I’ll see if I can find the info, but I don’t know if they’re widely available or sold locally. ---
