Okay, well, I’ve never actually had an MPSIMS thread before (or should that be an MPSIM?), but, while I, personally, don’t think this is mundane, it doesn’t really fit in Great Debates. Anyway, I just went skydiving and it was the coolest thing EVER! If you haven’t done it, I highly recommend it. More than highly. And if you have done it, I recommend you do it again! I plan to! Sorry, I’d be more coherent if I wasn’t so freakin’ excited.

I did some skydiving back in the 70’s. _Helluva_ rush. I “functioned” slightly on my last jump and opened pretty low. I had to make a choice: the river, the quarry, or the trees.

It was a rented 'chute (we jumped round chutes back then–not real controllable). I left it hanging on the trees, walked back to the DZ and told them where they could find their equipment, and I haven’t jumped since.

My son has mentioned that he might like to try a tandem jump when he turns 16. So, who knows…maybe we’ll each do tandem jump for his birthday of something.

Good luck with your skydiving.
