But I’ve probably signed my name on about ten thousand ccard reciepts.

I only write them out for bills or I probably would’ve hit the marker a lot…

I just remembered they screwed up one of my orders after I first moved to Tally-ho and I had to repeat something like numbers 400-499 or some crap like that. :rolleyes:
Well, it still _says_ 1000, dammit!
Still a reason to drink. 😃

It’s easier than that to write a cheCK that has number 1000 on it. When you order your first set of checks, ask them to start the numbering with 1000, rather than with 1. The added (only?) benefit is that fewer stores ask to see your i.d. like they do for new check account holders.

I’m almost on a new set of cheques, starting with #300. But then that bank account is only 3.3 years old.
And mine started with 100.

Most checking accounts will start at 100, not at 1. So you may have only written 900 checks.
