# I killed a squirrel today

Good! I can’t stand the fuzzy little rats. They have gotten into my attic from all four corners of the house.

I have an unusual number of leopard frogs this year. Unusually high. Lots of toads too. I try really hard to miss them when I am mowing. I try to give even the crickets and bees more than a fair chance to move on before they get mulched. Hit a leopard frog the other day. Really bummed me out. Never realized it until the next lap and there were parts scattered. I took the largest remnants and tossed them in the lake for the turtles. Circle of life.
