I’ve got some weird ones. Steve Buscemi. Something about that man is irresistible, and I still don’t know what it is. The characters he plays are deplorable, but I hear things like he’s an ex-firefighter and he showed up after 9/11 and volunteered anonymously to help clean things up. C’mon. That’s just awesome and a one-way ticket to sexytown. Chris O’Dowd from The IT Crowd. He plays a tall, gangly, Irish geek on the show. I really hope he’s a geek IRL. Then we could be friends. :3 Weirdly, my three earliest crushes when I was a wee girl were Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Bruce Campbell, and Michael Biehn. Those are still the top three today. I was a special child. ---

Last year at an office holiday party, I saw one of the most delicious women I’ve ever seen in my life. As we work in opposite ends of the building, she’s not someone I come into contact with often. I introduced myself, and we had a nice little conversation. We ended up sitting together for dinner. We were then joined by a woman that I charitably refer to as “a real piece of work.” The interloper kept pestering me with “She’s so lovely, and single. Why don’t you ask her out?” She pestered me so much that she dominated the conversation. The lovely woman left, and I was stuck in conversation with the moron. Lovely stayed on my mind for a few days, and then I forgot about her. A few times over the year a bumped into her and said hi, the result of which was her invading my thoughts once again. And again, I forgot all about her. Just a few hours ago, she came up to me and said hi at another holiday party. Still amazingly, incredibly, impossibly beautiful. Me ------\> my bunk. ---

Terrance Zdunich (the Graverobber in _Repo! The Genetic Opera_). Youtube “Zydrate Anatomy” or “Needle Trough a Bug” sometime, both of which are on heavy rotation on my ipod. I think one of my lj friends said it best, that Zdunich in real life looks like the nerdy guy who sits at the bar and stares at his feet, while Zdunich as the Graverobber is basically the ideal sexy badboy who would be bad for you, but oh so much fun.
