Yeah, so this should be posted in General Questions, but I feel it’s way too stupid for that. Anyway, I was in class, and a friend of mine asked me what a “Cincinnatti Hotplate” is. Well, right away I got the idea that it probably wasn’t something that I wanted to Google. So I thought I’d come to the next best thing. Anybody have any idea just what it is? Yeah, so gonna regret this… ---

I googled Cincinnati Hotplate and found a few references to chili. When I put the phrase in quotes I only got one hit: when visiting Case, anyone get a cleveland steamer?.. After escaping from a year in the copro-purgatory of Bowling Green, I find it highly amusing that Ohio cities lend their names to all of these, errrm, highbrow(n) activities. Every now and then, some things just make sense. 😉 ---
