# I know that moderators get a boner when they get to flex their moderator muscle

But they need to relax sometimes. I know the power trip and high from being able to flex some authority is enticing, but they need to remember that they exist not to show off their power, but to serve the general good of this website.

Moderators should be democratically elected.
