Why are pornos full of shaved women?
Since when did shaving that area become necessary to be sexy?
Every lady I’ve dated has had the full compliment “down there”, so… am I missing out on something special?
How popular is shaving among non-porno women?
Maybe this means the terrorists have already won… I’m sure theres a link here somewhere…

How could this thread _not_ be TMI? You’re asking women what their preference is in grooming of pubic hair, after all.
I keep things trimmed with an electric shaver, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. It’s my own preference that I started a few years ago (I wasn’t even seeing anyone at the time). It makes me feel sexier, and the general area is more sensitive as well, since there’s more skin exposed.
I don’t use a regular razor, and I would never, ever wax. Not in a million years. OW! My skin is way too sensitive.
And yeah, there’s some old links about - I know I’ve talked about this before. 😉 It’s kind of a self-selecting thing, though - I thnk women who don’t do anything are less likely to post.

I’ve shaved all of it off twice… and that skin is not happy with that little development I’m afraid. So keeping it nakie is not really an option. Oh and does it ever itch when it grows back in!
So I’ve compromised to keeping things trimmed…
Especially since all the really neat lingere kind of requires it ya know?

Interesting. I thought that the pubic hair would make the area more sensitive, as its more receptive to gentle contact… and it sort of picks up touching more easily. I don’t think I could have explained that any worse… but maybe you get what I mean.

My gf doesn’t trim (AFAIK), and she sometimes wears sexy lingerie. Now that I’ve thought about it… maybe she _does_ trim?! Do most women do a little trimming every now and then?

I trim, but there is no way I’m shaving off that area. I’m pretty clumsy, and have cut my knees and ankles quite a bit. I can’t imagine a razor cut on the naughty bits!

Guin, I can see the logistical difficulty that a full shave would cause. However, if you have a partner willing to do the job, then the shave could suddenly become very interesting. 😉
I just wish my partner was less prude about discussing this kind of thing… ☹

Samarm, my husband always want to help in that department too… while I wouldn’t mind him helping with trimmers… I’ve seen the results when he shaves his face and he is not getting anywhere near there with a razor!:eek:

Its a strange thing. She doesn’t really like talking about that area, but she has no problem discussing sex in general and other matters. She will sometimes mention that we had sex, in front of close friends. I just sit there with a red face.

I have a toddler and I’m pregnant… there’s no hiding that we had sex 😉
I didn’t mean to put that pun in there samarm… honest!!!
I won’t mention what I’ve discussed with close friends… makes the stuff I’ve admitted to here on the boards seem positively G-Rated 🙂 But where else are you going to get some objective feedback on something neither of you have done before?
