I feel better when everything is trimmed up, I tried it one day, and never went back, although I refuse to shave it all away, on the basis of I’m scared to. ---

My wife has a beautiful thatch of naturally red pubic hair, but it tickles my throat when I go down on her, so I’m kinda … torn … about the trimming thing. I love the look of her hair, but I really like doing oral sex and really hate being gagged by pubic hair while doing it. Well, there’s tougher problems in the world…how about that Middle East mess? ---

Shaving seems dangerous. Trimming…well, if you’re friends then you can talk about it, right? I don’t think trimming is unusual these days. Buy an Italian loaf, some Brie, and a bottle of Alsace Riesling and make an indoor picnic out of the event. ---

Pubic hair tickling the throat sounds a bit long, unless you mean the ocasional stray hair. I love hairy women. I shave. I have since I was eighteen. I LOVE IT!! I do leave a “landing strip” on the mons pubis, 'bout an inch wide and three inches long. A “little hitler” isn’t enough for me - and I’ve only gone all the way bald once (NEVER AGAIN!!!) I’ve never cut myself with a razor. However, on occasion, a little bit tries to get stuck in the electric razor (I use it to trim down first if I haven’t shaved in a while). Yes, the stubble itches like a bitch for a day, but that’s fine with me. I’m just used to it now. Plus, I can’t imagine that certain undergarments look nice with l’il spiders crawling out!! ---

I attempted to wax before I went tropical last year, and it hurt like bloody hell! Never again. I shaved from then on. I won’t shave it all off. No way am I getting a razor near my precious parts ;). But, I trim. It feels better, and makes me feel sexier. I guess more aware? Plus, what a nice surprise when the package is opened. 😉 Like that ever happens LOL ---

I actually was more nervous when I did once try it with an electric shaver! I keep it bald as the day God made me down there. It’s just personal preference. I find it’s a lot less sweaty down there when I’m bald, and it also feels nicer when I’m wearing skimpy bathing suits or lingerie. ---

I don’t mind the pubes. If my girlfriend shaved, I’m sure I love it, but I’m not going to insist. If she asked my to shave my pubes, I would in a heartbeat. Just keep it trimmed. It’s what I usually do. ---

irishfella jokes that everytime he sees me there’s less hair! I shave, with a regular non-electric razor, and pluck anything awkward with tweezers. I’ll never go completely naked, but I like things tidy. I’ve never found it itchy, but I shave every 2 or 3 days, so maybe I don’t give it time to prickle. ---

I keep the area between my thighs completely clean-shaven (but leave the above part). It feels better while making love, and is definitely nicer for the man when he goes down. Also it feels nice and smooth with silk or cotton panties. It just feels cleaner and nicer. Maybe a better question would be why would you prefer the chance of getting fuzz in your mouth or tickling your nose? ---

My wife has a friend whose wife went through breast cancer. Apparently when the chemo causes you to lose hair, you lose it from EVERYWHERE. She discovered this in the shower one morning and called him in to look. She was really upset as the hair loss was just one more thing in a string of frightening and painful events. So he looks at her and says, “Well, it makes you look a lot younger.” Laughed themselves to tears after that… -LabRat ps. She survived it BTW. ---

Huh. Who _knew_ all the fascinating stuff I’d learn about the human condition when I joined the SD… I’ve never shaved or even trimmed, but then again I don’t have much body hair…one of the nice things about being a blonde, maybe. Hell, I only shave my legs about every 6 weeks, and I don’t think anyone would notice unless he were actually actually up close and personal. Best, karol ---

I don’t shave or trim, except swimsuit season. I get shaving induced acne there. My husband complains all the time, but wouldn’t even consider when I turned the tables. ---

With my limited selection of women who’s nether regions I’ve familiarized myself with, I’ve had 2 who keep the hair (although the one did shave a few times during our 5 years together), and 2 who prefer to keep it shaved 24/7. I don’t mind it either way, but shaved is a bit more slippery. So, from my experience: 50/50 of non porno people…of course, 4 isn’t exactly a large sample size. ---

**Captain Blunty** , I’ve got a cheapo little Norelco Wet/Dry battery powered model that I got a Walgreens or some such. I used to have a Norelco - I think the model was “Wet & Sassy” or something equally goofy (also battery powered) - and I preferred it, but once it died, I couldn’t find a replacement. I actually had to return a couple that were literally ripping hair out :eek: - some are just designed strangely. And what’s wrong with having vibrating things near your clit? Sounds like fun to me. Seriously, it’s never been a problem - I don’t see how anyone could ever cut themselves with an electric. And the buzz is not unpleasant. So how long before someone starts a thread on men shaving their pubes? I’m not sure who would post now - the two doper guys who I would have guaranteed would be singing the praises of the Mach III for shaving boy parts don’t that post much anymore.
