Thought I was the only one who noticed it. Some questions: Is getting a banner on SDMB like taking out a classified ad? How much does it cost? Do you have to “know” someone to get it? and, of course, Who is the friend? ---

Uh… simple banner rotation? A different one loads each time the page is viewed. It’s a pretty basic and common thing. I use it on my site to rotate not only ads but also images. I saw the Mystery Banner earlier this week (though it’s gone today). I clicked on it—having all the self-control of Lucy Ricardo in a hat shop—and it just returned me to the Message Board.
