I can’t help you with that, but [Costco.com](http://Costco.com) sells bidet toilet seats and if you don’t like it you can return the seat at any Costco.

I installed a bidet toilet seat when we built a half bath in our unheated Minnesota basement. The heated toilet seat was mission critical. When we redid our main floor bathroom, I installed a more expensive bidet toilet seat from Costco. We didn’t like that one as much (poor pressure), and returned it and replaced it with another one from Amazon.

I regret not getting one earlier.

I have a nitty-gritty question for the women of the board who have or have used one of these bidet seats. Gentlemen, I suggest you retire to the den for brandy, cigars, and boisterous conversation. I think there’s a pool table in there, too.
Here it is. Regarding the forward wash: if your lady parts aren’t clean shaven like pre-pubescent little girl parts then the blow dryer isn’t going to dry off soaking, dripping wet hair in a couple of minutes of gentle warm air. Blottage with toilet paper is still necessary. I mean, even after towel-drying the hair on my head, it takes 10 minutes with the hair dryer on high, and even then it’s still a little damp. So I guess major trimming is in order. That might help. Any comments from those without penises?

Gentlemen who are still in the room: maybe you could ask the adult females in your house about this?

Fighting ignorance sheepishly but sincerely.

I can’t imagine that you’d be allowed to return a used toilet seat.

My MIL’s house has a bidet that looks like [this](https://www.houzz.com/product/87786027-toto-bt500ar-colonial-white-piedmont-bidet-deck-mount-contemporary-bidets). It basically looks like a toilet bowl with no seat & hot & cold faucets and a spigot. No fancy wash & dry cycles. Could she add one of those bidet toilet seats onto this so she can have all the whistles & bells described in this thread? Or are those made exclusively for toilet seats?

If not, what accessories could be added to such a set up to make it more luxurious?

I used bidet seats in Japan, and I used toilet paper to dry. I used a lot less paper, though, as the water got me pretty clean. (My lady parts are not clean-shaven.)

I did. You can. Costco has a very liberal return policy.

Update – I recently installed a bidet. I went with a Toto washlet, to match my Japanese experience. I’m enjoying it.
