Well, not really, I FUCKING HATE IT!! In the last 12 hours, I have tossed cookies my a grand total of 4 times. Once at work in a trash can(boy will that start some rumors) once almost in my bed(thank goodness for the kettle I brought to bed, once in a trach can in the bathroom(washroom for all you canucks) while sitting on the toilet with explosive diarreah, And once in the shower with a slightly more explosive form of the diarreah. Gross? Unsettling? Fuck yeah, and all you have to do is read it I did it!!! Now I am feeling slightly better, although I have seemed to have pulled a muscle in my back from all the dry heaves, and I am still shitting water. Since this is quite a disgusting thread, I thought it would be best to put it directly in the PIT. Things are looking up though, its raining with lots of thunder. That is a good thing in case you all were wondering. I think I will sit back and relax online till i feel better. ---

I have no idea what I had. I am guessing the flu, there is a particularly nasty strain of it going around. ---

About two and a half years ago, I had an attack that was virtually identical to what you described. I remember watching “Jeopardy” when I suddenly got a strange internal signal that was telling me that I should make a beeline for the porcelain throne. It wasn’t nausea, it was just a weird feeling that couldn’t be ignored. After that first vomiting sequence, I was utterly incapacitated for about two days, making frequent trips to the bathroom for the management of horrendous outputs from both ends of my digestive tract. It was the only time I ever stayed home sick during my college years. Horrible, awful, yucky time. Because of the suddeness of onset, and the time that it first started (early evening), I’m inclined to think it was something in the dinner that made me pray for death. As it turned out, I had chicken that night. Salmonella, perhaps? Best wishes for a speedy recovery, fnord. ---

Really, I do appreciate it. Seriously, been there and it’s awful. Hope it was only a 24 hour bug that got you and your now better. Food poisoning will for sure do that. Did you eat any of those recalled weiners? ---

Well, yesterday is when it started, err make that day before yesterday. I was feeling shitty all day, then around 5:40 pm everything decided to vacate my stomach. Luckily for me I got back to the warehouse before it went everywhere. I work at Circuit City, and it wouldnt be good if I yammied all over the place in front of the customers. Well, I think I am going to go sit in my hot tub and listen to the thunder. It will be good for my neck. ---

I think I remember my doctor saying once that if you get chills and fever during the illness, it’s flu, but if you don’t, it’s food poisoning. As far as flu, been there, done that; it’s truly the pits. However, the only time I had the dry heaves all day long until I was in pain was the day of THE hangover. You know the kind; everyone has at least one “THE hangover” story. Dry heaves every twenty minutes all day long. By the end of the day, I was bent over in the shape of a “C” from cramped stomach muscles. It’s kind of okay to ralph when you’re producing something – at least you feel like you’re accomplishing something. But dry heaves – bleh. ---

Well, I have no Hangover story, and if this is how I would feel, I am glad I dont drink. Well I had a fever of 104, and was quite chilled for most of 3 days. ---

I was in the shower, just about to get out, all done, nice and clean, water off, when I feel a rumbling from my ass, First thing that goes through my head is Oh SHIT! and guess what? I was right! Lots of it. So I quickly turn the water back on, and a combonation of me being sick and the smell, I proceded to vomit on my feet. ---

Oh fnord, I just snorted coffee all over my monitor! I must remember to use “yammied” soon! To go back to “THE HANGOVER”- I would have similar symptoms with bad hangovers- puking, sweats, dry heaves, shitting water all afternoon. Alcohol poisioning is a beautiful thing… But it sounds like your nasty little bug is nearing it’s conclusion, thank God. Sucks to be you. ---
