Good Morning All! Ugh. That sounded too cheery. Hi. Is it Friday yet? No beggars here last night. We haven’t participated for quite awhile. Our driveway is about 300 ft long and not too many kids want to walk that far. Shadow, best of wishes to you. Especially the part about having to deal with Kaiser! I have Kaiser as a HIPPA plan and it truly, truly sucks. Some days I wonder why I have health insurance at all. Speaking of health, I feel like a friggin’ Jekyll and Hyde. This has been one of the worst weeks since I’ve been on the new meds. It will supposedly be approved for Bipolar II but it’s not doing much for me yet. Tomorrow when I go for my weekly appointment they will be able to increase my dose. Thank God for that. Ok, off to work now. We’ve got a busy day. We’re feeding about 160 people for breakfast and lunch. Cheers! ---

Morning all, even though it’s an hour away from afternoon now! We had very few beggars round last night - one teenager turned up wearing a mask as his only contribution towards a costume but we gave him something anyway because we had loads of bags of sweets and didn’t really want to be left with them. The three kids who turned up a day early didn’t bother coming back so they’ve missed out, and there weren’t very many others who bothered knocking the door even though the lights were on and the outside porch door was open. So that’s plenty of goodies left for us! Tin Knickers has spent all week thinking about a report she needs for one of the Business School programmes, and now she’s decided it’s top priority and she needs it by tomorrow lunchtime. Not such a bad thing except that I need to get someone else to write a report that will give me the right kind of info and that can’t be done until this afternoon. And I was planning on taking tomorrow afternoon off to get ready for the Hallowe’en party I’m going to. What a performance… So a bit of a drive-by with appropriate hugs, boos, yays, treats and bribes as required. ---

Good morning! I’ve been up and ready to go for a bit now. So far I’m loving my new part time job. I work all day today and then I’m done tomorrow at noon. YAY for being done early on Friday’s. Oh and Thursday’s are always good days. It’s “The Office” night today. Cuddling time on the couch. ---

Lots o’ kiddies at the Mayberry VFD last night. I’m going to lock Ralph out of the bedroom tonight so I can sleep. :mad: VWife is tenatively getting sprung next Wednesday. Rough night in Cottonfield County. Simultaneously, there was a police pursuit, 2 ambulance runs for which no one would answer the page, and a fire alarm at the cotton gin (I went to the cotton gin over the ambulance calls). The poor dispatcher was going nuts… Is it quit o’clock yet? ---

Is there something in the air? My goodness, what a bunch of randy Mumpers… We had about 50 kids last night, some were so cute!!! I even was a bit startled by one young man. I was handing out candy to a group of about 6-7 kids, and this teenager slowly peeeered around the garage wall at me! I squeaked a bit! We still have a ton of candy left.
