It was a great experience. While I was talking to the porn stars there, I found myself totally rethinking the porn, er, adult entertainment industry. What was most evident was how friendly and down-to-earth most of the stars were. We (or at least, I) have the popular image of the typical porn star to be a vacuous, air head. On the contrary, most of them were really sharp. I even found myself discussing physics with one enchanting lady (god, I’m _such_ a nerd). On the male side, what stuck me was how non-studly they appeared to be. Ron Jeremy is fat and ugly (hey, I could be a porn star too!), a nice guy but certainly _not_ cabana boy material. There was another guy there named Dave Cummings (heh) that I talked to. He looked like someone’s grandpa: old, bald, and what hair he had was white. Again, not the stereotypical stud. There is a pajama party at the hotel tonight that one of the ladies (the physics one) invited me to, but I don’t think I’m going to go. I told that to one of my friends, and he said that if I don’t go he won’t speak to me for a month, but I’ve got a huge accounting final on Monday that I _need_ to study for. All said and done…It was a hoot, and if they come back next year, I would definitely go again. ---
