# I made a cat toy!

I took a clear plastic jar and cut a small hole in the side. She sees the cat food inside, and rolls and bats it around until a piece comes out. She always has such an appetite that I don’t need to fill it with actual treats, dry food works. Patent pending 🙂

I’ve actually bought dog toys that had actual plastic water bottles in side a tube sock shaped cover. For the crinkly effect, I suppose.

The homemade version has an even better perk! You don’t buy a pre-made toy and the cat has more fun with the packaging than the toy/feeder. Which happens _all the time_ in my home.
