If you want to try maple syrup pie (or farlouche), here are the ingredients and the recipe : 1 cup of maple syrup 3 cups of cold water 1 cup of brown sugar 8 teaspoon of corn starch nutmeg to taste an orange zest Mix the maple syrup, water and brown sugar. Boil fast. Dissolve the corn starch in a bit of cold water. Thicken while constantly stirring. Let it simmer a few more minutes. Remove from heat. Let it cool down while stirring. Pour in a pre-cooked pie crust. You can replace the maple syrup with molasse. **haardvark** , **Ginger** was saying that they substitute Mozzarella to cheese curds. Yeah, I know, a poor man’s poutine. 😉 ---

I was thinking, if you’ve got any Amish nearby, they might have some nice curds. Now, I think that was one of the weirdest sentences I’ve _ever_ typed. ---
