I’m sorry your dog got hit by a car. I’m sorrier that the dogs weren’t properly restrained in the first place. I’m sorriest that you seem to have no qualms about putting your life at risk. In the past 4 years, I’ve taken \*two \*work comp claims for waitresses who tried to chase down people who stiffed them, and got run down by their cars. Some people just have absolutely no sense. ---

No real helpful comments about the stuff that has already been posted by everybody. Although some of the cute one liners were pretty good. Are you asking why **Ducati** did not beat the skin off his child (at least figuratively) because she watched a video on the VHS security system? I’m also confused about the ellipses (…). Are there taboo words that are supposed to go in those places? My guess is that the child was not severely punished because **Ducati** is not normally a mean person, and that daddy’s video system is a household standing joke. That the system has been in place most of the child’s life for no apparent reason, and that her friends think it’s funny strange. To punish the kid would be about like punishing a kid in the 1970’s for eating some protein bars from the 1950’s fallout shelter in the backyard. Yeah, maintaining the fallout shelter could save the family’s life, but it probably not worth abusing the kid about. ---

You don’t need more cameras, you need a locking cabinet with some ventilation. Lock either the VCR or the teenager inside the cabinet. ---

::: sigh :::: The ( … periods ) Never knew they weren’t really periods or dots. is because I don’t call other peoples names out loud , not unlike others in the thread… Yeah, she needed her ass whipped unless it is a joke that ducati knows about but if they were told to stray out, candy bar or security system, either bad parenting or kids that listen people who do not suffer the results of their interference. Kid was way wrong at at the worst possible time because the needed footage was lost. You miss that part? You can say anything you want on a message board. Even non taboo words can have bad consequences IRL so just spouting off can be a bad habit but you all seem to like to do so so go for it… I’m not really hard to understand, willfulness aside… Fun stuff, especially the stupid parts… ---

We’re having a problem in my neighbourhood with people not obeying the local laws with their dogs, and we’re having a city wide problem with dogs biting people. I can only guess how many of those dogs that are running loose and hurting people started with a dog owner who didn’t do what he was supposed to do and keep his dogs in the yard. I walk everywhere with a canister of dog spray on my belt because of dog owners like **ducati**. ---
