Interesting. I never knew it was possible to get addicted to something just by reading about the addiction, but I now a serious urge to go out and buy lots of Hawaii shirts. Well, what’s the worst that can happen? ETA: Heh, first google hit: www.hawaiiskjorta.se Some fairly nice ones there, and not too expensive, either. Good thing I’m at least chubby and like to party. ---

I really like Hawaiian shirts. Really wish the thread title were – “Maybe I’ve got too many Hawaiian shirts”, instead of the same joke I’ve seen a dozen times here: Phrase the thread title and most of the OP so that it’s supposed to sound as if you’re talking about a real substance abuse problem, then reveal – ha ha! – that you’re talking about Hawaiian shirts, or Peeps, or collecting thimbles or some Goddamn thing. Soon as I get a job, I’m buying some more of those shirts. ---

I am an artist; I paint obnoxiously bright, colorful tropical fish. As part of my ‘art’ persona, I own and wear about 30 aloha shirts, most of them so loud they could easily cure the blind.
