The BF and I went out for his birthday last night with his friend Chris. She told us she was contacted by the Madison Police Department who want to rent a building she owns for training exercises. If she agrees, she and some others can watch the exercises or maybe participate as hostages. Oh man, I so want to be a hostage! I would contract a case of the Stockholm Syndrome so fast it’d make your head spin! Chuck me in a closet and call me Tania! ---

I don’t get to be taken hostage. Words can not express the depths of my disappointment. The officer in charge returned my call to let me know that his scenario is already “built” and he has all the hostages he needs. Damn. On the bright side, however, he says that if I get there early enough he can give me an orange vest and I can work crowd control. I look so good in orange, how can I say no? Now if only I can find a Symbionese Liberation Army shirt on short notice. I’m pretty sure I can get ahold of a beret… ---
