So anyway, I am the family expert on tracking people we knew long ago down on the interwebs\*. And there’s this woman who went to school with my sister. (And who later was a student teacher at my school and I got to know her a bit.) This was a very long time ago. I tracked her down online. She is seriously into some sort of New Age learning thing now. (Complete with Quantum Mechanics nonsense.) Makes big money giving seminars. Well enough known that The Amazing Randi devoted an article to her on his blog. Seems that she was getting some taxpayer money for teaching her garbage and people weren’t happy. And then it hit me. One thing we talked about all those years ago was ESP and such. She really didn’t know anything about it and was curious. So I suggested some books to her. Oh noes. I mean, even back then I was aware that there was a high BS factor in the area. But I was young enough to hope that it wasn’t 100%. Looks like she wasn’t anywhere near that skeptical. (\*Next up: Mrs. FtG’s ex-sister-in-law. There may be very big surprise regarding all that.) ---
