I find it most disturbing that **Taters** is making tater salad. Is she boiling herself while she posts? :eek: Also, I am curious as to why one would take people soap to a place that has no showers. Maybe the campground has big outdoor bath tubs! (Or is that bathtubs?) **donkey** if you are truly stalking me you know what I look like in the skinny bathing suit. You also know what I look like nekkid cause well, last night… ---

Hey can I play? I called my tan a biker’s tan because, for one thing, I am not a farmer. My hands are white, because I wear gloves, and my eyes are white because of my sunglasses. I kinda look like a reverse raccoon. My parents, my brothers, and I went camping every weekend form March to November from the time I was old enough to walk until I moved out at 16. **Taters** I hope you have a good time. But your description of “camping” in no way matches mine. Every time I camped, if I couldn’t carry it on my back in a pack for ten miles or so, then I did without it. And we still had to leave room for the climbing gear (if we were going into that kind of area). The first night out was egg and steak night, because they wouldn’t keep any longer than that. But starting the next day was the freezed dried crap and non-perishable stuff. (Hmm, maybe that’s why I don’t do that stuff anymore. Too much of a PITA.) ---

I did everything in my sullen, sunburned, boorish, bug-bitten, difficult, dehydrated power to disabuse them of the notion that there was any enjoyment to be had on such a vacation. And then there was the day that they up and left the Ogunquit boardwalk and went back to the campground to take naps without noticing that Princess Poutyface wasn’t with them … I spent four hours waiting right where they left me. **taters** , I didn’t see it on your list but **DON’T FORGET THE COFFEE!!!** That is, if you drink coffee, at least whatever you need to have to wake up in the morning. You’re gonna need sumpin to knock the kinks outta your back even if you do have an air mattress. ---

I haven’t posted to the MMP in a while - so forgive me if I do something wrong. I think we will have some camping adventures next week, but those plans aren’t 100% yet. I feel the need to talk about food - when we were camping over the 4th of July, I saw someone make a s’more with a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup. It looked interesting. I may have to try it sometime. ---

Anything with a Reese’s cup in it is worthy of trying. Chocolate and peanut butter is one of my most favorite food combinations. I can be bought or bribed with chocolate and peanut butter. Just sayin’. ---

Hi guys! Y’all are lucky, I had to work all weekend. (till 1:30 a.m. Sunday night, Monday morning), that’s why I’m so late to the MMP. What makes it even worse, my hubby and the girls went swimming at a friend’s apartment while I worked! That’s not even remotely fair. Swampy, now I will **never** be able to write compound words without stopping to think about them. Thanks awfully! I am ashamed to admit it, but I have a trucker’s tan, from putting my arm in the window while my hubby drives. Other than I just found out that I’m broker than I thought I was, that’s all I’ve got. That reminds me of the time I waited outside the junior high school for about five hours until 11:30 at night because my dad forgot to come pick me up after band practice. IIRC, it was pizza, not ice cream, that I had. 😉 ---

Speaking of tax-free (or is it tax free) weekend (I know that one’s right), we had us one in Jawja this past weekend. Actually it started on Thursday and went through Sunday so it was a tax-free (tax free?) long weekend. It was for clothing, school supplies, computer stuff and such. I bought some pens, some pencils, some composition notebooks, some markers, three pairs of scissors, and three each of color and black and white ink jet cartridges for my printer. I didn’t buy any clothes. Not even shirts! Can you imagine! I didn’t buy shirts! ACBG was flabbergasted! He said: “_You_ didn’t buy any shirts **at all!** How is that possible!” I told him he could go buy me some but he didn’t. The cheapskate!
