Okay, so I’m over in Neopets and I just got a Psimouse and I’d really like to name it after that character in Discworld, the one who’s always leaving her precognition on, I think she’s Angua’s landlady and she also tells Nobby’s future for him in “Jingo” but I can’t remember her name, can anybody help me? And can you tell I’m drinking Pepsi and chowing down on chocolate espresso beans? ---

Mrs. Cake is also the Discworld equivalent of the little old lady who manages to conjure up fresh flower arrangements for the church altar every week out of her tiny cutting garden and arranges for the refreshment table at the rummage sale. I can remember one Disc novel that has the Servants of the Hidden Temple of Offler, the Crocodile God, hiding because Mrs. Cake was at the hidden cave entrance with her triple-chocolate surprise truffle torte… ---

That sounds more like Mrs Marietta Cosmopilite to me. Mrs Cake helps out in churches, all right - to the point where they live in fear of her. That’s the scene in _Reaper Man_ where the two Priests of the Temple of Offler are listening to someone trying to get past all the boobytraps. Most people don’t get past the big rolling ball, though a guy with a whip got as far as the pit of big sharp stakes once. As the unseen figure approaches the guardian of the dread portals who no man has ever passed, the two priests start to wonder if it could be … MRS CAKE!!! ---
