# I need a good quote...

From Albert Einstein that basically says something like he wouldn’t be where he was without an education. Can you guys help out?

Kim, that was a perfect link. I did some searches but couldn’t find anything specifically in regards with education.

“The school has always been the most important means of transferring the wealth of tradition from one generation to the next. This applies today in an even higher degree than in former times, for through modern development of economic life, the family as bearer of tradition and education has become weakened.The continuance and health of human society is therefore in a still higher degree dependent on school than formally.”  
New York Times, October 16, 1936

The above quote is the one I am using for an annual report that I am writing. It is perfect for what I do.

You just have to fudge it like this:

“A wise man once said he wouldn’t be where he was without an education. Einstein was a wise man.”

Let them jump to the conclusion you want.

Then only those good in logic will see the flaw, and they probably already have an education.

Also, where it got him eventually was a modest grave, the same as many an illiterate, so be prepared for the jokers who will surely point that out.
