Hey, y’all - any Dopers in the Central-Northern NJ area with some free time this coming Saturday?

Here’s my problem:

I’m taking the EMT practical exam on Saturday, in Cedar Grove NJ. I’m supposed to bring my own “patient” to bandage, splint, etc. My pre-arranged patient just backed out, and I could use a new one on kinda short notice.

Downside: Your’e going to get manhandled a little bit by total strangers for a few hours. Also, you get to wear some modern versions of torture devices first seen during the Spanish Inquisition (cleverly disquised as medical equipment).

Upside: After the exam, my class is adjourning to a nearby watering hole for stress relief. Provided you’re of legal age, your booze & eats are on me. Same deal for those under 21, 'cept you only get soda!

Any takers?

Damn, I never expect the Spanish Inquisition! Sorry… 😃

If I was a 1000 miles closer I’d volunteer in a heartbeat \<rimshot\>. Good luck to ya, though.

Sounds like fun, too bad I’ll be out of town.

Is there no one who can be swayed by the offer of free booze?
(he said incredulously)
