# I need a new racing game

My favorite racing game, _ **Wreckfest** _, is irretrievably broken. Unacceptably long load times, if it ever even loads at all, and other issues. All of the recommended fixes did nothing to improve my experience, so sadly I’ve decided to move on.
So I need a new racing game.
Not into simulation racing, but not looking for _ **Daytona USA** _, either, if that makes sense. I need something somewhere in between.
Not really into kart racing, or full-on combat racing.
Before anyone goes there, _ **Forza Horizon** _ I didn’t care for. I’d like a little bit more structure than that.
Not looking for an open world experience, I want tracks, which mostly eliminates **Need for Speed** too.
Suggestions?

You want _ **Motorsport** _, not _ **Horizon** _. Sadly, the only version for PC appears to be garbage.

My son and I played Dirt 3 and Dirt 4.
Rally racing, but pretty good amount of variety in terms of races and vehicles.

There’s the GRID series. GRID Legends is the latest in the series. All are available on Steam.
