# I need a "sleep dentist"

Or actually my brother’s wife does. This is someone who puts you to sleep in order to do a lot of dental work all at once. This dentist would need to take Cigna insurance. Thanks for any help.

They should be able to do a search on the Cigna site. The term they use around the radio ads here is "sedation dentistry.)

Sometime also called “conscious sedation” because although subjectively it seems like you are asleep, medically you are awake the entire time. I had my wisdom teeth out using this method and it was just the greatest.
