What am I looking for? I’m sure there are things that do just what I want but I don’t have a clue what to search for. If you nice folks give me a device name, I can find it from there. Please and thank you and promises that I will try to get a pic of me using it to stop the neighbor’s cat from chasing the birds I feed in our yard. ---

YES!!! That is just the sort of gizmo I want! Thank you so much! I don’t want to hurt the cats, I just want to deter them from hanging out around our feeders. They also look handy for adjusting the clover sprinklers without walking back and forth from bib to viewing distance. ---
