I need B12 injections to prevent nerve damage, but there's a supply shortage.

Yes. The power of the free market at work.

I just picked up 6 months worth of injectable cyanocobalamin at my local CVS.
It was all they had but apparently someone is producing it again. It’s made by APP Pharmaceuticals of Schaumburg IL.

American Regent is producing 1mL vials, no target date yet on when multidose vials will be available. There is a special process your pharmacist must use to get this product.

You pharmasist must call their distributor and instruct the distributor to contact American Regent by phone. Your order will be processed and dropshipped directly to your pharmacy. The 1mL vials are more costly than the multi-dose vials, but at least you can get it. Exaplain to your doctor about the production shortages and get the doctor to write a script for the largest quantity you can afford.

I hope this will help some of you.

I know this is a resurrected semi-zombie (Oh look he’s still twitching!), but I haven’t had a problem getting by cyno-whatthefuckever (B12). The only problem is, none of the pharmacies around here will carry the multi-dose bottle.

If you’ll look at post #22, the post that reanimated this thread, you’ll see that I recently was able to get 6 months worth from my local CVS.

It was in separate single dose vials, but that hardly matters.
