Please, music and viddies less than ten years old. My contribution is Broken Peach’s rendition of “This Is Halloween” [Tim Burton - This is Halloween (by Broken Peach) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNiI6C0142g) ---

Take a look at this gifted [Washington Post - 50 Best Halloween Songs](https://wapo.st/3pzZfRN); you shouldn’t need a subscription. It might give you some thoughts on what a “Halloween song” is; not sure I’d say all of these are. I see you’re asking for within the last ten years. There’s a Taylor Swift song in there, so perhaps it still works for you. It seems like lots from the 1970’s and 1980’s. ---

Yeah, I’ve seen that list but, like I said, I am looking for _fresh_ corpses. ---

well, you might try a selection of murder ballads. Turn the lights down and play these. I guarantee chills. I took the OP to be looking for songs _about_ Halloween, not just songs about scary things (and which I have none to offer; sorry). OTOH, it’s pretty easy to listen to Cannibal Corpse, etc. nowadays eh. Plus lots of their videos are, of course, mini-horror films. Ah, excellent; thank you for the clarification. When I think of music and Halloween, I often think of the shows that Frank Zappa used to do at the Palladium in NYC. A few years ago I managed to snag one of the 1977 packages which includes great music like this: [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/_UY38FDY35o/maxresdefault.jpg "Frank Zappa "- Black Napkins -" Live At Palladium New York 1977 [HD 720p]") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UY38FDY35o) ---

How about something by Ghost? Their first album came out just about ten years ago, and their entire discography falls safely into the horror-rock genre. I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with a relatively recent song that is kind of scary sounding, so how about [Heathens - Twenty one pilots](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UprcpdwuwCg) (2016, from _Suicide Squad_). It’s got a nice minor key and interesting (?) lyrics. Hope it meets your needs. ---
