I am a seventy year old retired miner and for years I have been playing tricks on my neighbour but need new April Fool ideas. She is a dear friend with a superb sense of humour and I don’t want to offend anyone. If this is any help, she’s happily mattied, has two kids and a few grandchildren and loves this as she does the same to me whenever the occasion arises ---

I put a red bulb in her front door light socket Had her son put it into another room in the house later Placed different ornaments onto the car antenna every day until the thing looked like a Christmas Tree I used Saran wrap to cover the doors or her car Left little things in her mail box trying to get her to break her diet BTW My wife and her husband know all this is going on and enjoy it Does this give you any ideas ? ---

A sudden ‘army’ of lawn gnomes getting ready to attack her castle. Any elections coming up in your area? A sudden forest of [the sillier the better] campaign signs. A snowman on her yard (bathroom tissue? papier-mâché?) doing anything impolite. ---

If you spray paint the saran vandal style and apply to the car with a water mist it is very convincing, sort of like a decal. Easier to stomach than the cupcakes with toothpaste frosting. I could go on but as a miner you might have access to explosives and we could get in way too deep.
