I have a story. It’s about 300 words. This scifi writing thing is a relatively recent undertaking, although I’ve always written stuff. If you read it, I need to know: 1. Does it end too abruptly? 2. Is the science credible/ accurate? 3. What do you think of Sam’s speech? and 4. Do you know what a finger cot is? Any takers? ---

If it’s just 300 words, why can’t you just post it? You’ll get more feedback that way. Or are you worried about someone stealing your ideas? ---

Unfortunately, it exceeds the character limit for PMs. By quite a lot. I would just post it somewhere, but this particular story I kinda would like to try to publish — that is, after taking a few good readers’ reactions to heart, and the resultant adjustments slash edits slash manuscript burning. 🙂 ---
