Hey, if I’m paying USD$6,000 for a 10 day trip to Europe, I’d expect to be allowed to keep something from either the Louvre or the Vatican’s Art Collection- whichever would like nicest in my study. 😃 Seriously though, if you organised it with your friend, you could have a longer holiday in Europe for about USD$6,000 for the pair of you, and probably learn more about yourselves than you would on this GYL thingy. Europe’s a great place, and make sure you stop by England on your way back, if you can… ---

Very, very true. I’ve done, and recommend it. Been to Eastern Europe, and beyond. Cheap as hell if you don’t let yourself get taken. Great experience. I’ve sat naked, in a hot spring, with a bunch of Russians in the country outside of Petropavlovsk-kamcatchka. Nicer, more wonderful people you’ll never meet. ---

I used to work at a private school in Switzerland. [Tasis](http://www.tasis.com/Summer/pages/lugano.cfm) is the name of this school and this is the link to their four week summer language program. Full room and board, students from around the world, beautiful location and luxury accommodations, _you learn a language_, there are sports, art, theater, local events…an experience you will never forget. The cost, minus airfare, is under $5000. A far, far better deal for about the same price. ---
