I have a queen sized bed in my bedroom, which is located on the second story of a 1.5 story house (so the celing is sloped). The bed is up agains the windows, and the windows start maybe 2.5 feet off the ground, or just at the level of the mattress where the bed currently sits (on a queen bedframe, but no head/footboard).

So, I’d like to get a headboard (or, ideally, a ful bed set) that is

a) made of wood (this is a 100% requirement, my wife wants a wooden bed) and
b) doesn’t block 90% of the windows.

So far, I’m not having any luck. Any suggestions would be welcome.

As soon as I move into a bigger place I’m getting [this](http://www.haikudesigns.com/tatami-bed.htm) one (you can take out the tatami and use it as floor mats). I also sort of liked [this](http://www.haikudesigns.com/edo-beds.htm) one.
