What’s nice about that system is then you tell the kid that if anyone asks, you just say “I don’t know where the keys are.” It gives the kid a feeling of responsibilty AND if the kid’s friends really want to drink it let’s him ‘blame the parents’ instead of saying “no, I don’t think we shoud” it makes saying ‘no’ to the friends much easier.
