What I’m looking for is a text file that has a bunch of words (sorting doesn’t matter, I can do that myself). The Oxford English Dictionary would be nice (just the words, nothing else). I’m trying to find something in this format:

\<start of file\>
word
word
word
word
\<end of file\>

Thank you to all. And no, I’m not trying to brute-force any passwords (that would take forever anyway).

Look around in Google for the “YAWL list” which is a public domain listing of every word allowable in SCRABBLE.

“pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis”

The longest word in the YAWL list. Who on earth thought of that one?
