I thought of a few more while listening to music at work today - I’m home so I can make youtube links! I really do love upbeat stuff, I have a TON. Fountains of Wayne - [Hey Julie](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asul10avENw) (the guy in the song has a lousy job, and it made me think of what you said about work getting you down). It’s still upbeat, job is lousy, girlfriend is great. Blessid Union of Souls - [Hey Leonardo](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSdbQLXpmPQ) Michelle Branch - [Breathe](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEafJTTALlQ) Jack Johnson - [Upside Down](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNlmn7vbXBQ) Matt White - [Best Days](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoh_j5kTlDU) The Corrs - [Breathless](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp7fK_JPPsY) Saving Jane - [Super Girl](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wvbwsukx358) Paolo Nutini - [New Shoes](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmbUNF1Q4R8) Basement Jaxx - [Do Your Thing](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_n1FHX3mBw) Pat Monahan - [Her Eyes](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpT8-J3xGMc) Mountain Goats - [Jenny](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLPYDKC9PIU) Letters to Cleo - [I See](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLiLxuogIKw) KT Tunstall - [Suddenly I See](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-At6avvY_4) The Click 5 - [Just The Girl](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWSTlgt4eHI) Tristan Prettyman - [Madly Madly Madly](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQE24WFdVXc) Cast of Rent - [Seasons of Love](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj7LRuusFqo) Bowling for Soup - [Girl All the Bad Guys Want](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj7LRuusFqo) Superbus - [Radio Song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ry2QikE__Jw) Metro Station - [Shake It](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpU78IeTx_c) We The Kings - [Check Yes Juliet](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1R_txIuuio) All Time Low - [Dear Maria Count Me In](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcNiKCmWdYE) …I didn’t even get to the 80s, just got tired! ---

Pizzicato Five’s album, _Playboy & Playgirl_. You won’t be able to sing along, though, unless you know Japanese. That being said, it’s incredibly poppy\*, happy music. \*Relating to pop music, not poppies. ---

**Komeda** is the most infectiously catchy band I have ever heard. I can listen to them for hours and hours. I didn’t think anyone had ever heard of them, either, though - pleased to meet you! 😃 I like \*\*Doktor Kosmos \*\* better, though. (From the same label, Minty Fresh). Does that make me a commie? Back to the OP, a lot of \*\*Scissor Sisters \*\* stuff is very upbeat, if a little on the cheeky side. \*I Don’t Feel Like Dancing \* is impossible not to… want to dance to! When I’m feeling really beat down at my job (which I have been a lot lately, just finished an enormous week), I like to drive home blasting _I Can’t Decide_. Yes, okay, the [lyrics](http://www.lyricsmania.com/lyrics/scissor_sisters_lyrics_2463/ta-dah_lyrics_30244/i_cant_decide_lyrics_345781.html) are almost pure evil, but lord is it ever _fun_, and catchy, and you can’t tell me that airing out your evilest thoughts and feelings to a catchy tune every now and then isn’t good for keeping you in line? 😕😃 ---
