I offer you a bout of Mao.

Antinor01 plays the Jack of Hearts

Oh dear.

One penalty card to ArizonaTeach, for not setting a new suit.
One to Antinor01, for playing out of turn.
Another to **Antinor01 ** for playing a Heart on a Spade.

Hmm. Seems you fell into my trap. I never technically played a card (look back and see! I never used the word “play”!)

I win.

Revenant Threshold takes a penalty card for ruling out of turn.

I left my hand of cards at home. Please be patient. I’ll post my turn this evening after I review the new penalties and figure out how they affect me.

**Point of Order: **

If that is so, how can

also be true, or weren’t you paying attention?

Remember when I asked you to post in blue when you were actually playing? Sorry, AT.

anyrose, his playing of the particular card is certainly in and of itself fine. AT was perfectly within his rights to play exactly as he was allowed to; he just didn’t exerciser that opportunity. I have my list of rules with me just in case I do forget something, but this wasn’t a case of it.

okay - I don’t mean to question your arbitrary capriciousness - I’m just trying to understand the rules that have so far been revealed.

I also ask, as a PoO, what the last valid play was. Was the K Spades a valid play? That’s (in retrospect) what I was questioning.

As in “what card is currently in play”? It is currently the King of Spades.

okay - see, now I’m afraid.
if ArizonaTeach go a penalty card for not changing suits,
then surely I will as well, because my only valid play is

6 of Spades
.

You do get a card, because AT still hasn’t chosen suits, so it’s still not your turn.

a HA! I now see the key word!

Uh…Hearts?

Ah, good. Carry on.

Not to repeat myself but…

I will repeat myself:

anyrose plays the 7 of Hearts

bump?

You’re fine. Sorry to be late!

whew

P.o.O.: are you using two decks?
