I am getting married in 8 weeks and for some REALLY REALLY stupid reason I agreed to a 6 week abstinance kick with my fiance. That means he is taking my jet powered Shower massage away and all my toys. he wants me to anticipate my wedding night. He is going without to and dosn’t have a problem with it. Help Me!!! I only have, Oh shit… 11 days left! ---

I’m so sorry…☹ I can only imagine. Life without sex… I’ve always thought my life would be easier if I could just get the doctor to prescribe one of those drugs that is supposed to affect your libido…as a side effect. I’ve always know that he didn’t have THE highest libido, but he joins me in the shower at my whim. I LOVE my shower massage. I can’t give that up. It is a cumpulsion… That is why he is tearing it out. It is too bad I love him to much to care about his sex drive. ---

My wife and I did a whole month’s abstinence before our wedding. Then on our wedding night, we didn’t get to our room until about 1 am, her relatives were in rooms on either side of us, and we were dog-tired. So much for breaking the fast. ☹ The next day, Sunday, we went to church, cleaned our car off, watched the wedding video with my sister who couldn’t attend because of food poisoning, then said good-bye. Our first stop before our final destination was a bed & breakfast. It was beautiful and rustic. They made a wonderful dinner for us, complete with dessert. We went to our room, had some sherry (a first for both of us), then made mad passionate love. Boy, was it intense! It certainly helped put a kick into our honeymoon, reducing the mundanity that sex can become. It was also fortuitous that it happened in a romantic Vermont bed and breakfast instead of a Holiday Inn off Hwy 9 in Maine. ---

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and on making it 6 weeks without sex!!! I hope it works for you guys!! It’s a good idea but I don’t think I could do it… I couldn’t last 6 weeks without, my sex drive is **way** too high. Tuesday night was the first time I had sex this week (which is unusual, we usually do it every night and 3-4 times a day on the weekends) and it was amazing!! I don’t think my boyfriend and I will ever have a boring sex life, it just keeps getting better and better every time! Maybe we’ll abstain for 2-3 days before our wedding though, that would add just the right amount of anticipation for us! Again, congratulations and good luck!! 🙂 ---

My fiance and I wanted to do that, or rather _she_ wanted to do that. Before the abstinence ensued, however, we broke up, so instead of a mere 4 weeks before the wedding, it ended up being a considerable longer period of time as I searched for a new girlfriend. Good luck to you and I’m sure you’ll appreciate it on your wedding night. BTW, he may have taken out the shower massage, but you still have two hands right? I’m sure you can figure something out to help relieve some pressure after the first week or so. ---
