# I oppose continued GOP efforts to subvert American elections

😕 It doesn’t even try to educate itself by clicking the links? Wilbur Ross, Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Census, has said almost _in so many words_ that the purpose of the new questions are **to frighten residents into hiding from the census altogether** , and thereby reduce the allotments of states like California. Note that even legal residents [may be afraid of _La Migra_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFUFw1GH6ic) or federal agents understandably confused with _La Migra_.

I’m going to call that an insult and give you a warning, septimus. You’re either insulting him directly or you’re riffing on the Silence of the Lambs thing which is actively dehumanizing.
