Grr. I have no self-control. Was able to resist posting even after I found the word “vibraphone” just to keep my 999 status. Was able to hold off on some Great Debates thread. But the chance to correct a doctor on a minor medical matter that I knew a bit about in GQ was just too great a temptation. Welp, now into the thousands. Woo. 🙂 ---

If you want to quote your own post, or to see the format, after you post it sends you to your post specifically. ---

Oh, and if you’re too lazy to view souce, do what I do. Move your mouse over the “quote” link on the post you are interested in. note the postid=number portion of the link. append to the thread URL as follows. #post\ ---

another easy way: right-click on the link, select “copy shortcut”, then paste it wherever you want and modify to your heart’s content. 🙂
