I want to cry. My Little Sister (with BB/BS) had a stray hanging around her house for several weeks-- he’d started coming into her house whenever he could, but my Little’s guardian won’t let her keep him (plus she already has a cat). She lives in a pretty rotten neighborhood, where little hoods have been known to torure or deliberately run over cats. After some discussion, we agreed that I’d take him home with me and either find a home for him or give him to the Humane Society. He’s a gorgeous Siamese, I think around 4 months old. Playful and fearless, and purrs if I so much as look at him. No one at work wants him. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a husband and two giant cats already, and we just can’t handle another cat. So I will have to take him to the Humane Society tonight (unless some fine Minnesota Doper can take him). Don’t know why I’m posting this, I just feel sad about the whole thing. ---

We found a home for him! My husband’s coworker will take him to her parents’ farm, where he will be their new housecat, with the run of the barn and land as well. Yay! He will be happy and loved there. Thank God. He’s such a terrific little baby, and he’ll make a wonderful pet. ---

I couldn’t find a place for our Maine Coon Cat when we moved until I looked for such a rescue group (two actually). They emailed people all over the country, and I got offers to adopt her right away. Better than that, the first one was a couple who only lived a few miles from me. They had 11 female cats already in a 2-bedroom condo, but they keep the place immaculate. I was so sure that I left her there that night. She’s now quite settled with her new sisters at [url=http://members.tripod.com/dragonkingcattery/index.htm]The Dragon King Cattery. ---
