Listen up you piece of whale shit, I don’t care who you are. When you hit someone with your car you fucking stop and call the cops. You do not drive away to leave someone to die in the street. And you sure as fuck do not tell the girlfriend you just dropped off to get back in the car before your getaway. You were not panicked enough to leave her, then you can’t use “panic” as an excuse to to abandon my friend. You stay at the accident scene and get help, you frog felching prion. Thank goodness someone saw they whole thing in front of the 7-11, and called the cops and an ambulance. At least my friend’s last conscious moments on earth were not alone and in pain. You took one of the nicest, most fun and funniest people I know from us. When I get to hell you will know it’s me because I am going to shove flaming sulfur and burning aqua regia up your ass all the way to your palate for all eternity, even if I have to do it with my bare hands. In this life there is a witness - besides yourself and your female companion. The cops will get your ass in this world, and you will spend the rest of your days on earth in the slam. No niceties like “vehicular manslaughter” for you - you left the scene, so when my friend died you became a murder in the eyes of the law. I hope you rot, you useless fuck. ---

I’m so sorry to hear that, **Typo**. We had a string of hit-and-run collisions on our cars here (three in one year!), but no one was injured - we just had to cough up the money for repairs, and that made me furious enough - I can’t imagine how helplessly infuriating it would be to have a good friend killed by a hit-and-run driver. I truly hope they catch the piece of crap who did this, and he gets everything he deserves. ETA: Remembered one wasn’t a hit-and-run but just a break-in. ---

The comment that my friend was not dead was followed up by another comment, from his best friend (I recognized the name), that our mutual friend is on life support pending donation of his organs. The docs may be keeping his body going so he can help other people, but all that made my friend who he was is gone, like tears in the rain. ---

That’s awful. I also looked for the post stories and was hoping that your friend was a live after all, but I guess not. I’m very sorry. Losing a friend is hard enough, losing one due to someone else’s criminal act is even worse. ---
