It might be nice to keep track of her, but it would also send a message that what she did is perfectly okay. We may be able to recognize that said people are assholes, but, as the evidence in this threads shows, the party faithful would not. Eventually, it would just be accepted that this stuff is okay, and both sides will use it. That’s already happened with what candidates say about each other. Political ads are often full of people being assholes, but we see it as normal. The idea that you can pick out the assholes is gone. When someone goes beyond our already rather permissive limits, I think we need to push back hard. ---
