To be fair, I’m fucked if I know! I grew up in a so-called Marxist-Leninist country and no one seemed to have any idea of what direction the government should take. The politicians did, though. They did as all politicians, of all stripes: they enriched themselves to the detriment of everybody else. ---

Babale is an enigma. He identifies as a liberal Zionist and supports The Democrats (the Israeli party as well as the American one). But from what I can see online, no other Israelis who identify with The Democrats have any problem saying that bringing Arab parties into the ruling coalition is the only good option available, and that opposition to doing so is just racism.
