Growing up exposed to lots of chiggers playing in the woods and unhappily getting them a few times as adults. Chiggerex is the best stuff to get relief and get rid them. I’ve also found that rubbing any kind of alcohol on your skin does the trick. The chiggers drink the alcohol, get drunk and fall off. Apparently chiggers can’t be boozers. ---

Chiggers are too small to see without magnification. Seriously glad I live far enough north that chiggers aren’t a concern. ---

Well I learned something today. When I was a kid my dad told me that chiggers were bits of toilet paper that gets stuck to your anus hairs. I believed that till today. ---

A better perspective for size/apperance [Chigger](http://www.mikebaker.com/animals/chiggers.html) Sometimes people confuse them with [aphids](http://www.featurepics.com/FI/Thumb300/20061129/Ladybird-Staying-Red-Aphids-151280.jpg) Nail polish always works like a charm for me. That liquid bandage stuff is second best. (Probably a better choice for gamer’s hunting pack though!) ---
