Make that statement differently – something like, “I believe the evidence points that on average Asian American families dedicate more resources to academic pursuits than other demographic groups”–and I’m not muttering, “Jesus Christ” to myself while I read it, I’m just wanting to see the evidence.

But as you wrote it? Dude, you’re telling on yourself.
